So what is a MOB?
A MOB is a group of people who want to communicate on a certain topic via the mobile. The group can have active texters (publishers) or just passive members (subscribers). Each time someone publishes, the publisher only pays for one sms message and every member of the MOB receives the same message for free, irrespective of the number of group members. Thus MOBS make it incredibly easy and cheap to keep in touch with circles of friends, family or like minded acquaintances. You have 140 characters exclusively for your use including your MOB name. The remaining 20 characters could be used to place an ad.
You can create as many MOBS as you’d want. You can also use it for your business or profession free of cost. We, however, have MOBS that can be branded with your business and completely ad free for a small fee.
To start a MOB, sms ACCEPT to 575758 to indicate that you have read our terms of services.

Once that is done, you should invite users to join your MOB. To join, they should sms START <mobname> to 575758. Example START GR8MOB to 757585. That’s it. MOBS for businesses are allocated 160 characters of space. Plus, instead of the sms reaching users as MyToday MOBS, it will be sent under your brand name. For example, if your brand is PRIME INDS – then the sms will be sent under that name. Plus all sms sent by you will be totally ad free.
