Strengthening relationships using BizBond
The BIZBOND client in this case is a school. As with most schools, this school too holds various events, meets, and programs through the year. While the usual communication channels continue to be used, BIZBOND connects the school to each parent at an individual level. The school uses BIZBOND to ensure parents are informed of everthing important from their perspective . Annual meet timings, PTA meets, any change in school timings, exam start dates – all these reach the parents on their mobile phone - making sure that parents are well aware of everything happening in the school.

Improved communication using BizBond
The company holds regular events for its employees. It sends monthly electronic newsletters and emails to inform members about these events. The newsletter is issued in the first week of the month – but quite a few of the events are towards the end of the month. Often, the company is forced to create event reminders and email them, adding to the cost of creating the collateral.  Although the response has been reasonable, the company was keen to remind members of events closer to the time of the event (say 8 hours before the event).

The company has 700 subscribed members so far. The electronic communication continues as before. But now it is supported by mobile text reminders on the morning of the event. Normally, the company used to see about 180-190 members attend any given event. That figure has gone up to 200-210, or is up by 20%. The company plans to use mobile text capability to remind members of pending dues and membership fees. The company already uses mobile text capability to keep its leadership team informed about critical events.

Cost-Cutting using BizBond
This is one of the more interesting ways BIZBOND is being used. The company has six offices across India and runs up electricity bills of Rs 26 lakh+/  year. It’s something the company wants to change by addressing employees in a direct, urgent manner at a point of time when it can make an impact.

The company managed to subscribe 90% of its employees to our mobile text service which sends reminders every evening (when most employees are leaving office) to switch off the lights. The company also sends polite reminders at lunchtime requesting employees to switch off their monitors before leaving for lunch. The target is to reduce the power bill by 4% per month or Rs 2,00,000 across the year. The total investment in SMS service for the year: just Rs 23,000. The company is almost certain it will achieve > 2% reduction in power bill given the visible response to the text messages. Real innovation for a problem that’s quite common.

Immediate, real-time communication & feedback using BizBond
We at Netcore along with a few other companies use BIZBOND to connect to our employees as well as to get immediate feedback from our customers. In the first case, each employee subscribes and the management retains the publishing rights. Critical announcements are followed by mobile text announcements so that every employee – irrespective of their location - is aware of it. This includes meetings decided at a short notice, any holiday declared due to weather or any other event, change in schedules for company events, and other such exigencies.

Companies also use BizBond to allow customers to send in immediate feedback on a product or service. Here, all the customers are given publishing rights and the support team is the recipient. BizBond thus makes the feedback loop much, much shorter for the company resulting in quicker redressal of customer complaints.
